Softball Recap: Cherokee County Comes Up Short

Cherokee County fell victim to Plainview and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bears, falling 16-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost nine in a row.

Cherokee County's loss dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Plainview, they pushed their record up to 28-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Cherokee County will host Hokes Bluff at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plainview, they will venture away from home to challenge Southside at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
