Von Steuben waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hubbard Greyhounds. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Von Steuben not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hubbard between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17.

Von Steuben pushed their record up to 12-17 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Hubbard, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 12-5-2 record.

Coming up, Von Steuben will look to defend their home court on Monday against Payton College Prep at 5:00 p.m. As for Hubbard, they will take on ACERO Garcia in a tournament on Saturday.
