Basketball Recap: Winslow Comes Up Short

Winslow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost to the Holbrook Roadrunners on the road by a 52-34 margin. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Roadrunners earlier this season, when they won 57-48.

Holbrook's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Channing Harrington, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 16 points along with five boards and four steals. Bailey Williams was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Winslow's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Holbrook, they pushed their record up to 11-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Winslow will host Alchesay at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Holbrook has already played their next contest (against Show Low), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
