Preview: Reagan Bison vs. Jackson Generals
Reagan has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Jackson Generals at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Monday, Reagan took a serious blow against North Miami Beach, falling 41-3. While losing is never fun, Reagan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 605th, while North Miami Beach is ranked 252nd).
Meanwhile, Jackson had to suffer through a rough 55-16 loss at the hands of North Miami Beach. Jackson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Reagan's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.0 points per game. As for Jackson, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
