Softball Recap: Hayden Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hayden can now relate to. They fell just short of the Joseph City Wildcats by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Lobos in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

Hayden's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Joseph City, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Hayden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Joseph City, they have already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Williams on the 8th.
