Irondequoit is a perfect 10-0 against Gates Chili since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will welcome the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Irondequoit and 14 for Gates Chili dating back to last season.

Irondequoit is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New York's top teams: Webster Schroeder, who was ranked first at the time (Irondequoit was ranked 15th). The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Warriors on Monday. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-18 in the first set.

Irondequoit started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Gates Chili came up short against Bloomfield on Friday, falling 3-0.

Irondequoit's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5-3. As for Gates Chili, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Irondequoit took their win against Gates Chili when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
