Basketball Game Preview: Dayton Dust Devils vs. High Tech SD Storm

The Dayton Dust Devils and the High Tech SD Storm will face off at 8:00 a.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Dayton's defense has only allowed 29.3 points per game this season, so High Tech SD's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Dayton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against White Pine, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Dust Devils fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 31-29 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, High Tech SD beat Boulder City 48-44 on Thursday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Storm's disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 873rd in California, while the Eagles are ranked 58th in Nevada).

High Tech SD's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Dayton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.
