Softball Recap: Darlington Beats Beaufort for Their Third Straight Win

Darlington waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Beaufort Eagles with a sharp 14-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jaylee Carter was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaria Mack, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Darlington always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Darlington's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Beaufort, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

As of now, neither Darlington nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
