Volleyball Recap: New Richmond Takes a Loss

New Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Goshen Warriors. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While New Richmond had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 25-22.

New Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Goshen, their record now sits at 4-2.

Coming up, New Richmond will square off against Ross at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. The Rams are coming into the game with five straight victories on the road, so the Lions will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Goshen, they will challenge West Clermont at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
