Basketball Game Preview: East Thunderbirds vs. Central Indians

The East Thunderbirds will square off against the Central Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Central took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on East, who comes in off a win.

East took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past South 72-35.

Meanwhile, Central lost to Laramie at home by a 67-53 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Plainsmen are ranked fourth).

Central has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. The victory got East back to even at 11-11.

East was able to grind out a solid win over Central in their previous matchup back in January, winning 58-51. Will East repeat their success, or does Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
