Softball Recap: Friday Harbor Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Friday Harbor, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Chimacum Cowboys on Saturday as they made off with a 20-9 victory.

Friday Harbor's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Chimacum, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coming up, Friday Harbor will head out on the road to take on Darrington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Loggers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13 runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Chimacum, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-3 defeat against South Whidbey on the 12th.
