Greenwich got themselves on the board against Bridgeport Central on Tuesday, but Bridgeport Central never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Hilltoppers with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering the Cardinals' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Greenwich got a great performance from Stephen Iasillo as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Max Marek was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Nick D'Andrea also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Greenwich always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Greenwich's record now sits at 8-14. As for Bridgeport Central, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with the loss, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season.
