The Mission Eagles will take on the Pace Vikings at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Mission is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.

Pace will be up against a hot Mission squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Eagles strolled past Roma with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 49-35.

Mission can attribute much of their success to Leon Villarreal, who went 9-for-16 on his way to 24 points and three steals, and Jared Castro, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Villarreal has scored at least a third of the Eagles' points.

Meanwhile, Pace was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 55-51 to Rivera. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Mission's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Pace, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Mission strolled past Pace in their previous meeting back in November by a score of 48-29. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
