Basketball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial's tournament run continued when they took on Grant on Saturday. The Eagles took an 87-74 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Grant, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 77-61 victory against Sandy on the 16th. Grant will take on Oregon City in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Generals will need to watch out since the Pioneers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
