Volleyball Recap: Sabetha Takes a Loss

Sabetha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Perry-Lecompton Kaws. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bluejays of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Sabetha was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23.

Sabetha's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14-1. As for Perry-Lecompton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5.

Coming up, Sabetha will take on Jefferson West on Tuesday. As for Perry-Lecompton, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Riley County on the 16th.
