South Side skates past Plainedge with ease

Recap: South Side Cyclones vs. Plainedge Red Devils
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the South Side Cyclones had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 35-0 win over Plainedge on the road. The result was nothing new for South Side, who have now won seven matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
The victory (which was South Side's third in a row) raised their record to 9-1. As for Plainedge, their loss ended a 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
South Side will face off against Floral Park Memorial at TBD on Friday. Plainedge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
