Christian Heritage took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They breezed past the Athens Christian Preparatory Academy Storm to the tune of 63-33. The victory continues a trend for the Sentinels in their matchups with the Storm: they've now won seven in a row.

Despite the loss, Athens Christian Preparatory Academy had strong showings from Nick Runte, who posted eight points, and Ian Middleton, who earned eight points. Runte is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 23 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Nathan Mitchell, who had six points.

Athens Christian Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Christian Heritage is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Trinity School of Texas at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Athens Christian Preparatory Academy, they will challenge New Summerfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
