You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Northwest's strategy against Southeast on Friday. Everything went the Northwest Grizzlies' way against the Southeast Golden Buffalo as the Northwest Grizzlies made off with a 79-53 win. The Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Northwest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dj Brown, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was River Peters, who went 8 for 13 to rack up 23 points and eight rebounds.

Southeast's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaydin Araujo, who went 7 of 17 en route to 18 points. Gus Archie also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.

Northwest's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Southeast, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-48 win against East on the 11th. As for Southeast, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-52 defeat against Heights on the 11th.
