Basketball Recap: Iowa Falls-Alden Takes a Loss

Iowa Falls-Alden lost against Hampton-Dumont/CAL back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets took a 40-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hampton-Dumont/CAL. While losing is never fun, the Cadets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Hampton-Dumont/CAL are ranked 31st).

Iowa Falls-Alden's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Iowa Falls-Alden will look to defend their home court on Friday against Humboldt at 6:15 p.m. Hampton-Dumont/CAL has already played their next contest (against South Hardin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
