Volleyball Recap: Leland Finds Home Court Redemption Against St. Mary

There's no place like home for Leland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the St. Mary Eagles 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Comets have posted since October 4th.

Leland's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-23-1. As for St. Mary, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20-3.

Coincidentally, Leland and St. Mary will both be playing Glen Lake the next time they take the court. The Comets will head out to face the Lakers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
