Fairfield Central piles up the points against Columbia

Make it five blowout wins for the Fairfield Central Griffins this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Columbia 56-28 at home. With Fairfield Central ahead 33-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Jordyn Adams went supernova for Fairfield Central, dropping a triple-double on 30 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Adams has scored at least a third of Fairfield Central's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazzlyn McMillan, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Fairfield Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Columbia, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield Central will take on Chester at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chester is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Columbia, they will be playing at home against Fairfield Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
