Basketball Recap: Jemez Valley Comes Up Short

Jemez Valley played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons, falling 60-40. The Warrior's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Devin Moore had an outrageously good game for Monte Del Sol Charter as he dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Moore has become a key player for Monte Del Sol Charter: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 15 points, but 3-16 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Trujillo III, who posted 18 points and six rebounds.

Jemez Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Monte Del Sol Charter, their win bumped their record up to 5-17.

Jemez Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 81-21 defeat against Oak Grove Classical Academy on the 13th. As for Monte Del Sol Charter, they will challenge Menaul at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
