While Staunton River put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Fleming. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Colonels. Considering the Golden Eagles have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Staunton River and bumps their season record up to 7-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Fleming, they are on a 32-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Looking ahead, Staunton River will square off against Craig County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Fleming, they will take on William Byrd at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
