Belchertown waltzed into their game on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Central Golden Eagles with a sharp 13-1 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-9 back in March.

Belchertown's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belchertown will host Ludlow at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Orioles 2.9, the Lions 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Central, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Pope Francis Prep at 4:00 p.m. The Cardinals will aim to continue their five-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
