Kennedy is 6-0 against Katella since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Kennedy Fighting Irish will look to defend their home court against the Katella Knights at 6:15 p.m. Kennedy is coming into the match hot, having won their last 18 games.

Last Friday, Kennedy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Ocean View, but they still walked away with a 62-56 win. Given the Fighting Irish's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Seahawks are ranked 987th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Katella, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Garden Grove 48-45. The win was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kennedy's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.9 points per game. As for Katella, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Kennedy was able to grind out a solid victory over Katella in their previous meeting last Wednesday, winning 74-66. Does Kennedy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Katella turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
