Mt. Pleasant was forced to take a big defeat against Petoskey on Saturday, they got the better of them on Saturday. The Oilers walked away with a 12-8 win over the Northmen. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Oilers considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Mt. Pleasant's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Petoskey, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
