Volleyball Recap: Pocono Mountain West Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pocono Mountain West can now relate to. They came up short against the Freedom Patriots on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15, 25-14.

Pocono Mountain West's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Freedom, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8-2 record this season.

Pocono Mountain West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Freedom, they will challenge Parkland at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
