The Ridgway Demons's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They walked away with a 58-48 win over Dolores. That's another feather in the cap for Ridgway, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Dolores still got an impressive performance from Mark Palate, who scored 35 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Palate has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Koby McClellan, who scored no points along with six assists and three steals.

Ridgway's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Dolores, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Nucla the next time they take the court. Ridgway will head out to face Nucla at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, while Dolores will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
