Johnalbert Cisneros' Big Game Leads George West over Odem

Starting off the list is George West's Johnalbert Cisneros, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cisneros rushed for 204 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.

The win was the fourth in a row for George West, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Cisneros and George West will take on Banquete at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Santa Rosa Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Jj Anaya

Jj Anaya's big game helped extend Santa Rosa's winning streak to six on Friday. Anaya did his part (and then some), rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.

On the year, Anaya has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 90.7 rushing yards per game.

Big Game from Hinojosa As Odem Fell 46-23

John Hinojosa continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his seventh-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 104 rushing yards. He rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns.

Odem moved to 6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. Hinojosa and Odem will challenge Monte Alto at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Teagan Collins Has Career Rushing Day

Teagan Collins posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 77 yards on only five carries, and also threw for 122 yards on seven of 12 attempts.

For the season, Collins has thrown 5 touchdowns (and and only 1 picks) while averaging 134.3 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had one passing touchdown.

Miguel Hernandez Rounds Out Top Five
