Soccer Recap: Palmetto Victorious

Palmetto proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Southside Christian Sabres by a goal, winning 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on March 6th.

Palmetto's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Southside Christian, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5-1.

When Palmetto and Southside Christian next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Palmetto will try to stop Powdersville's 11-game winning streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Southside Christian will take on St. Joseph's Catholic and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
