Having struggled with six losses in a row, Boiling Springs turned things around against James F. Byrnes on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Rebels 2-1. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Rebels on their field since March 18, 2024.

For James F. Byrnes' part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bubba Gowan, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
