Basketball Recap: Weiss Takes a Loss

Weiss was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hendrickson Hawks. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Weiss' loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Hendrickson, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weiss will head out to square off against Georgetown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Georgetown knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Weiss likes a good challenge. As for Hendrickson, they will challenge Pflugerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
