There's no place like home for Miramonte, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Benicia Panthers on Thursday as the Miramonte Matadors made off with a 3-0 win. Considering the Matadors have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Katrina White and Olivia Penney scored all three of Miramonte's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Miramonte's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four matches. As for Benicia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Miramonte nor Benicia have any future games scheduled.
