Basketball Game Preview: Eagle Mountain Knights vs. Lake Worth Bullfrogs

The Eagle Mountain Knights will take on the Lake Worth Bullfrogs at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-26, which was the final score in Eagle Mountain's tilt against Burkburnett on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1112th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 150th).

Meanwhile, Lake Worth had to suffer through a 96-14 loss at the hands of Decatur.

Lake Worth has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season. As for Eagle Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-16.

Eagle Mountain came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Worth when the teams last played back in December of 2024, sneaking past 43-41. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Lake Worth's Kylah Nabors, who posted 18 points and five steals.
