Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Swain County). They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Hayesville Yellowjackets on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Swain County needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

They hit Hayesville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abraham Pena, Evan Hall, Yuriel De La Cruz, and Diego Izaguirre.

With the win, Swain County broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-11-2. As for Hayesville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Swain County and Hayesville will both be playing Tri-County the next time they take the pitch. The Yellowjackets will host the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Maroon Devils will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
