Soccer Recap: Nash Central Comes Up Short

If Nash Central was feeling good fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Rocky Mount last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the Northern Nash Knights on Tuesday, falling 6-3. The loss continues a trend for Nash Central in their meetings with Northern Nash: they've now lost seven in a row.

Kaylee Faile and Madison Bridgers scored all three of Nash Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 45 goals.

Nash Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Northern Nash, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
