Football Recap: Briggsdale Takes a Loss

After soaring to 71 points the game before, Briggsdale was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by the Prairie Mustangs and fell 51-13. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 49-20 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Briggsdale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Scot Francis and Ryott Simmonds.

Briggsdale now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Prairie, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Briggsdale is set to square off against their familiar foe Peetz at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Prairie will face off against rival North Park at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
