Volleyball Game Preview: Glenbard North Panthers vs. Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers

The Glenbard North Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Glenbard North came up short against St. Charles North and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Joliet Catholic entered their tilt with Nazareth Academy on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Roadrunners.

While Joliet Catholic won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22.

Joliet Catholic's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Glenbard North, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

Glenbard North was able to grind out a solid victory over Joliet Catholic in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, winning 2-0. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Hilltoppers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
