Softball Recap: Tatum Comes Up Short

Tatum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 11-3 to the Gladewater Bears. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Tatum saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brailey Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Smith has hit this season. Another was Camryn Milam, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Tatum's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Gladewater, their win bumped their record up to 10-14-1.

As of now, neither Tatum nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
