Baseball Recap: Norwich RVT Comes Up Short

Wheeler hit Norwich RVT with a five-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Norwich RVT saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Northrop, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Norwich RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Wheeler, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

While Norwich RVT had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
