Soccer Game Preview: Chelsea vs. Huffman

The Chelsea Hornets are taking a road trip to challenge the Huffman Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chelsea is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Briarwood Christian, who was ranked tenth at the time (Chelsea was ranked sixth). Chelsea came up short against Briarwood Christian on Friday, falling 6-2. The Hornets' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Huffman's offense. They lost 10-0 to Mountain Brook last Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost five in a row.

Huffman's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Chelsea, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.
