Flag Football Recap: Ashley Hua and Skye Ramil Lead the Defense for Hillsdale Win

Hillsdale owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Burton Pumas. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Fighting Knights just coasted through the last quarter.

The critical scores for Hillsdale came from Lucia Forney, Judith Michael, and Skye Ramil.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Hillsdale's defense and their 12 sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Ashley Hua and Ramil, who racked up 11 sacks between them. Hua also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six.

The win got Hillsdale back to even at 6-6. As for Burton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-1.

Coming up, Hillsdale will challenge Sequoia at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Burton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dublin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
