Softball Recap: Chisholm Trail Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

While Chisholm Trail didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the North Mesquite Stallions with a sharp 15-1 victory on Friday. Fans of the Rangers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs over those games. As for North Mesquite, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Chisholm Trail will take on Seminole at 1:30 p.m. on February 21st. As for North Mesquite, they will face off against Kaufman at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
