Basketball Recap: Dubuque Senior Takes a Loss

Dubuque Senior lost against Prairie back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dubuque Senior Rams took a hard 60-44 fall against the Prairie Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Hawks are ranked first).

This is the second loss in a row for Dubuque Senior and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Prairie, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dubuque Senior will welcome Hempstead at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prairie, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Linn-Mar at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Prairie's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
