Jeanarion Kamga Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Westside got the W thanks in part to Jeanarion Kamga playing the best football he has all season. Kamga rushed for 250 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. His longest rush was for an incredible 89 yards.
The victory for Westside keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Kamga and Westside will be playing at home against Harlem at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Ty Cummings was a major factor in West Laurens's victory over Academy of Richmond County on Friday. Cummings did his part (and then some), rushing for 177 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries for the 'W'. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 92-yard run.
West Laurens' win bumped their record up to 5-1. They and Hephzibah are set to duel on Friday.

Davis Posts Huge Game in 12-7 Defeat
Harlem had to settle for second on Friday, but Baylor Davis sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the loss, Davis was still balling out as he made 14 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Davis must have Aquinas's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Davis made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss) the last time he and the Fightin' Irish duked it out back in September of 2023.

Shannon Adkins Makes It Two for West Laurens
The second West Laurens player making an appearance here is Shannon Adkins, and for good reason. He rushed for 33 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making six total tackles.
For the season, Adkins has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 21.2 rushing yards per game.
