Softball Recap: Roosevelt Teddies vs. Humboldt Hawks
Roosevelt's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Humboldt Hawks 18-2. The Teddies haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Olivia Wohnoutka was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Wohnoutka was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Roosevelt's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Humboldt, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will host Como Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Humboldt, they will be playing at home against Highland Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
