After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Covenant Christian Academy, Hanson Memorial was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against Jeanerette by a score of 15-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The high-scoring effort was just what Hanson Memorial needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Spencer Fuhrer looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (one).

At the plate, Loren Wells was a standout: he scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Vacarella, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Hanson Memorial always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .696. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
