Basketball Recap: St. Clair Gets the Win

On Friday, the St. Clair Bulldogs escaped with a win against the Sumner Bulldogs by the margin of a single free throw, 40-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Clair.

St. Clair has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Sumner, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Clair will venture away from home to take on Warrenton at 6:30 p.m. on January 3rd. Warrenton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something St. Clair surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sumner, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Liberal at 6:00 p.m. on January 11th.
