Volleyball Recap: Freeport Takes a Loss

The Freeport Pretzels came up short against the Guilford Vikings on Wednesday and fell 2-0. The Pretzels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9.

Sam Viveros paced Freeport's offense, picking up two kills. Viveros got some help from Bryce Mcdanel and his three assists.

Freeport now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freeport will take on Hononegah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Pretzels surely won't give up without a fight. As for Guilford, they will face off against Harlem at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
