Volleyball Recap: Chattooga Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Chattooga couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Bremen Blue Devils on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2020.

Haley Maddux paced Chattooga's offense, picking up eight kills. Maddux got some help from Aurora Ramirez and her ten assists. Ramirez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The loss snapped Chattooga's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 34-13 record. As for Bremen, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-7 record this season.

Chattooga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bremen, they will face off against Oglethorpe County at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
